The room was compact (as expected), but it was very clean. The shower had a reasonable amount of watwr pressure and he towels were nice, big and thick. What really surprised me isnhow comfortable the bed was. Even the pillows were comfortable! (the world is full of thin and hard hotel pillows). My room had a small window, so it wasn't very bright, but the LED mood lighting compensated for this. It was pretty pleasant, really. I wish all hotels had it. The breakfast was continental and the coffee wasn't vad at all. There were a couple of vegan and gluten free options, which is good. The staff were nice and you could buy hot drinks from reception at any time (there are no kettles in the rooms). The hotel is very centric and overall it was a pretty pleasant stay. I'll definitely be back.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. I booked a room with no window, the bonus of this is no street noise. Lovely hot shower and plenty towels, they do provide shower and hair wash. I had a hairdryer in my room, also a television with a few radio channels which was appreciated as the TV did not have programmes on I cared for, so was able to listen to radio in my room in the evening. The staff at this hotel are very pleasant, helpful and nothing is ever too much bother. I also received help to find a theatre I was attending. This was all very much appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that no dogs (apart from assistance dogs) are accepted here. I have asthma and dogs being everywhere now can be rather problematic for me. It's difficult to find dog free places. Dogs can also be noisy.

Excellent location, just a short walk from Buchanan St subway and Glasgow Queen Street Station which made travel to, from, and around Glasgow much easier. Nice room, modern yet cosy, and surprisingly quiet. High level of cleanliness throughout the hotel, especially in the room and bathroom. The staff at the front desk were lovely and very welcoming, made the check in and out process nice and easy. Highlight of the room has to be the LED lighting which could be colour controlled depending what mood/atmosphere you want. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only thing I cannot comment on is the breakfast because we did not have it.

We always use Point A when staying in Glasgow as it is a short walk from the bus station and only 2 streets away from a good Wetherspoons for cheap meals and drinks. It is also in a great location for Sauchiehall Street, Buchanan Street and the railway stations. Staff are VERY helpful and they have a good luggage room to leave your luggage in on the day of departure. There is everything you need in the room, including good lighting and plenty of sockets

On booking in, the lady on reception with blonde hair I just want to say thank you as my son has autism and will not go in lifts and me being a single dad she offered to walk my son up while I took the lift and let him go pick a sweet and drink and she always made time to talk to him as he loves to talk so a big thank you and rest of staff were great aswell providing hot drinks 24/7
